GIVE58 Campaign

LIVE FROM MAY 26TH THROUGH JUNE 23RD

We're calling on 58 people to give $58 dollars each to help fund our 58th build! Every gift brings us one step closer to turning an empty lot into a safe and decent place to call home for the Martin Family.

When we all come together, we build more than walls, we build futures.

To contribute by check please make check out to Habitat for Humanity of Grant County and mail to P.O. Box 687 Marion, IN 46952.

Meet the Future Homeowner: Carissa Martin

Carissa is a dedicated single mother to two boys, Jessiah (15) and Jaxtyn (3). She works as a bank teller at Northwest Bank, where she says her job and coworkers feel like a second family. Jessiah is a high school sophomore, enjoys martial arts, working out, and video games. He's also a protective big brother to Jaxtyn, an energetic, outdoors-loving preschooler who's fascinated by construction, tools, and building blocks. Together, the Martin family enjoys going for walks on the walkway and finding trails to explore with their dog, Bolt.

Their journey hasn't been easy, facing everything from homelessness and loss to housing instability and neighborhood violence. But through it all, Carissa has remained committed to providing a better life for her children. Carissa and her children are eager to begin their journey towards homeownership.

A Message From Carissa:

I honestly can’t think of the words to say to everyone who has made this possible. This is such an amazing blessing for my family. We are so thankful. As a single parent this has lifted so many burdens and I’m so , so thankful for this program and all the people who have given my family this wonderful blessing of your time , donations and support.
