Construction

Across Grant County, Habitat builds quality housing to improve neighborhoods and enrich the lives of families living in substandard housing. Following these principles ensures that Habitat homes meet the families’ basic needs and can continue to do so for years to come.

What We Build:

  • Homes have between two and five bedrooms.

  • Homes reflect the style of the neighborhood in which they are built

  • Average home values range between $60,000 - $110,000 (costs are subject to change without notice.)

How We Build:

  • We follow all building codes for each area we live in, as well as all Habitat International building standards.

  • Volunteer and future homeowners partner on Habitat homes to do the carpentry, roofing, siding, interior trim, painting, and landscaping.

  • Subcontractors for the site will focus on foundation work, HVAC, electrical work, and all other skilled trades.

We are pledged to the letter and spirit of the U.S. policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity throughout the nation. We encourage and support an affirmative advertising and marketing program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status or national origin.
